  1. Paul,
How is Jim doing so far.. we know you are loving it, but how is a retired IBM executive handling the experience.. give us more updates…. rememeber those not lucky enough to be experiencing this fist hand are living vicariously through you as we sit at our computers during the work day we need more in depth updates.

  9. I spent a few hours today trying to find people who had gone for the Arctic Circle. I didn’t fair so well, aside from the Last Great Road Trip.

For some I couldn’t find the link for the summarized version of the Arctic Circle or Bust, but I was able to figure out that you went from the West coast up through Alaska.

Have you encountered anyone who went up the east coast?

My buddies and I travel to Ontario every year, and have always pondered if we could just “keep on going” until we ran out of land.

Awesome site, and thanks for any info.

  10. Hey paul it’s Sam Olson. Im sitting with Jon and Christian in 5th period and we would just like to see some pictures of the ink on your leg.

  11. Hey Paul,
I just found your site last week, and really enjoy your “how to” videos!

However, you should double check your RSS feed subsystem (espcially the file permissions), as I think you got hacked. 30 seconds after I signed up for your RSS feed last night I got a slew of “undelverable” emails from my hotmail postmaster – all being sent out to SK8* all over europe (.uk, .cz, and .pl) and all advertizing some product in very broken english. I think your server may very well be a part of a botnet. I would seriously get it checked. In the meantime, I would suggest that you might want to turn off your RSS subscrition service unti it is fixed.

    Just a suggestion.

    1. Thanks Noel… because of your alert we found the hack were able to shut it down… Appreciate you pointing this out and glad you like the videos. Any suggestions for what to cover next?

  12. Great site. No really, great site. I am doing a similar site (poorly) for my Land Rover habit. Thanks for great inspiration and keep up the good work.

  13. I’ve been enjoying your how to videos for some months now, so thank you for making things easier for the laymen out here. I have perhaps an unusual question. Where did you get your “Hula Betty” dash board figurine? I really like it and would love to get one of my own.

    Thanks, Jim

    1. Jim thanks for the note and glad you like the videos… Hula Betty joined us about four years ago so I’m not sure where she came from specifically (amazon, Hilo Hatties, Aloha Gifts…). We just googled “Dashboard Hula Doll” and there she was πŸ™‚
