Metal Tech Front Bumper
Ultra high performance in a lightweight package. The Metal-tech tube bumper is only 19 pounds heaver than the factory front bumper. Made from 1 ¾” .120 wall tube steel the bumper features four light mounting tabs and the ability to work with or without a winch. The Metal Tech bumper mounts to the front frame using the factory bumper mounts for easy installation and ensuring a strong integration with the frame.
The bumper features four light tabs, two in the grill and two on top of the stinger. To maintain the clean lines of the FJ Cruiser the bumper has laser cut access points into the light mounting points of the tube bumper for wiring . This will allow you to route all the wiring to the front mounted lights inside the tubing for a clean and protected look.

Metal Tech Winch Mount System
The Metal Tech winch mount system is designed to be mounted independent of the bumper allowing for increased strength as well as easy installation and removal (reduced weight and theft protection) when not required. The winch system is a twin beam design that bolts to the sides of your frame using the factory reinforced points on the frame. This winch mount system was engineered from the beginning to be used and take the abuse of real off-road situations. The system bolts on and is the easiest winch installation of any bumper. Once the mount is in place you simply bolt the winch on. An easy one-person job. After installation the two (winch mount and bumper) look integrated as one unit but are independent for better strength to weight ratio.
Metal Tech Tube Bumper Bash Plate
Desert racing is all about light weight protection. If you’re looking for Ultra high performance, strength and supper light weight, the Metal Tech tube bumper and aluminum bash plate is it. The aircraft 6061-T6 aluminum bash plate is stronger than steel and half the weight.

Metal Tech Sliders
Functional step sliders with hard core off-road engineering embedded in their DNA. Metal Tech sliders are CNC Laser cut and the main bodies of the sliders bent to match the lines of the FJ Cruiser providing a full length step and protection down the side of the vehicle. Engineered for tight trails, each slider extends only as wide as the outside edge of the factory fender flair. These sliders were designed to integrate into Toyota’s frame mounts directly bolting on with the included, U.S. made, high alloy grade 10.9 metric bolts. These sliders are so strong you can lift the truck by them with a forklift (manufacturer tested and field proven).
Powder coated on the inside as well as the outside, Metal-tech takes pride in the performance and look of their sliders. Quality products deserves the best finish.
Optional Rub Rail Upgrade
Originally a custom solution designed for Last Great Road Trip has now become a production favorite. These are the same step sliders as above with the addition of a rub rail designed to keep trees and rocks from coming in contact with the side of your rig. Rub rails are cut, bent and hand welded to the slider’s box step ensuring a correct spacing, support and protection the full length.
Rub rails add an additional 2.75″ in width allowing solid footing for easy access to items in the roof rack.
